PERCENTAGE (Modifiable)
Allows the user to set the percentage which, when exceeded, will force the 9A686-04 to begin
dropping packets. This field has a range between 0 (drop packets immediately) through 100
(buffers must be completely full before dropping packets).
2.22.2 Configuring EPD/PPD
To set up this 9A686-04 to use the EPD/PPD feature, perform the following steps:
1. Use the arrow keys to highlight the EPD PPD field.
2. Press the SPACE bar until "ENABLED" displays.
3. Use the arrow keys to highlight the PERCENTAGE field.
4. Enter a value between 0 and 100. Lower values signify that the 9A686-04 will drop packets
more often. Higher values signify that the 9A686-04 will drop packets less often.
5. Use the arrow keys to highlight the SAVE command at the bottom of the screen.
6. Press ENTER. The EPD/PPD feature becomes active.
