Warning!
Remove all control levers from the proportional valve. These levers should be used only
for maintenance purposes.
Warning!
Units with two driving positions: Prior to changing driving position, stop the vehicle, apply
the parking brake, and turn off the engine. Properly adjust mirrors and set driving control
switches including arm control joystick (if applicable) to the new driving position before
starting the engine. This will ensure that the automated arm is completely inoperative
from the other driving position.
Warning!
The operator must never be in the danger zone of the packer while the truck's systems
are running. Only authorized personnel should approach the packer, and only after the
truck has been locked out and tagged out. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or
death.
Warning!
Never operate a truck with one or more interlocks deactivated. Failure to do so could
result in serious injury or death.
Warning!
Before operating the truck, ensure that there are no missing parts. Never operate a truck
with a missing part, safety device or hardware, as this could compromise your safety and
violate the labor standards legislation. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or
death.
Danger!
Always inspect the hydraulic hose crimps before operating the truck. Do not operate the
truck if you notice rust, cracks, abrasion or wear on the hydraulic hoses. Failure to do so
could result in spills, burns, or serious injury.
Warning!
Before operating the truck, the operator must inspect the hydraulic lines and bushings. If
rust, cracks or abrasion are found, the lines must be replaced. Failure to do so could result
in spills, burns, or serious injury.
