Centering lateral runout

Caution:
Never attempt to eliminate all the lateral runout by
adjusting only one or two spokes.

Note:
Vertical runout must be checked every time lateral
runout is corrected.
•
Correct lateral runout "S" by tightening the
spokes on the opposite side (arrow).
Lateral runout ...........................max. 2 mm (0.08 in)

Spokes which protrude from the spoke nipples must
be shortened.

Correct vertical runout "H" by tightening the
spokes at left and right (arrow).
