[U] Protecting Images from Accidental Erasing (PROTECT)

This feature enables you to protect important images to ensure that they
are not inadvertently erased.

Protecting an image

Turn the camera on and press the mode
buttons UD until "P" lights up on the
mode select LED.

Press the MENU button K to display the menu icons.

Move the selector lever left l or right r
to select PROTECT [U] and press E.

Move the selector lever left l or right r to select the image
to be protected.

Move the selector lever up u to select
[SET], then press E.
The [U] icon appears on protected images.
