Information Checklist
These instructions for configuring Scan-to-Email at the WorkCentre M20i. Configuration can
also be performed using Xerox CentreWare (Refer to "Network Installation Using Internet
Services" on page 7-1). Before starting the installation procedures, please ensure the
following items are available or have been performed:
Ensure that the network has a fully functioning SMTP Mail Server.
It is recommended that the network has a fully functioning LDAP
Server.
Ensure the WorkCentre M20i is fully functioning on the network prior
to installation.
Ensure that the TCP/IP protocol is configured on the device and is
fully functional
Install WorkCentre M20i Email and Network Scanning Services kit.
If problems are encountered during the WorkCentre M20i installation, refer to the Problem
Solving chapter for assistance.
