How to remove fingerprints:
1. Soak a small part of a lint free tissue lightly in 100% ethanol.
2. Shake the tissue, so that excess ethanol sitting on the tissue is ejected.
3. Hold the filter at its holder.
4. Move carefully and softly with the soaked tissue across the filter glass until the
contamination has been removed.
5. Take care that no flow marks are visible, if that is the case, repeat the
procedure.
Notice
It is recommended that the optical filters are always kept in the instrument's own
filter storage.

Changing the Air Filter

On the back of the instrument there is an air filter which is used to filter the room air
flown into the reader (see picture below). The air filter is attached with four screws.
The recommended changing period for the air filter is once a year.

Warning!
