Initializing the Reader

How to start up and initialize the reader
1. Switch on the reader using the power button. The reader is initialized (if no
stacker connected).
2. Open the web browser and type the reader's IP address http://192.168.0.2 into
the address bar and press the Enter key.
A login window is displayed:

3. Signing in differs depending on whether the software is used in standard mode
or enhanced security mode:

Standard mode:
Enter a user name or leave the field empty and click OK.
To log in as an admin user, enter the admin password.
Notice
Entering a user name is not mandatory. You can also leave the field
empty. The user name is used to separate the results and protocols for
certain users. Standard users can only delete protocols and results
created by themselves.
The log in does not represent a complete user management, since the
password is not mandatory and there is no database for different users.

Enhanced Security mode:
Select a user account from the drop down menu, enter the corresponding
password in and click OK.
