Gas Control (Optional)
An external gas control option is available for VICTOR Nivo readers. This digital

controller allows to control (and log) the CO

determines the timing and the duration of opening its CO
the atmosphere in the VICTOR Nivo reader reaches the correct gas concentration
(set-point) selected by the user.
Please read carefully and follow the instructions in this chapter and also in the
additionally provided manual of the gas controller.
6.1
Gas Connectors
The reader is equipped with gas connectors at the back of the reader:
1. Recommended input connector
2. Recommended output connector
The input and output of the gas controller can be connected either way to the
reader's two connectors. Best results are usually obtained by connecting the gas
output of the gas controller to the lower connector of the reader and the upper
connector to the gas sensor input of the gas controller (see connection diagram on
page 38). The lower connector will guide the gas to the front end of the reader's
measurement chamber. The gas flows back to the gas controller through the upper
connector from the back end of the measurement chamber.
