Laser Radiation

The device includes a 3B classified laser (optional) which produces light at 680 nm.
The cover of the instrument should not be removed or altered in any way. Doing so
could lead to hazardous laser radiation exposure.
The VICTOR Nivo Alpha reader's plate loading door and upper hatch are equipped
with safety sensors which immediately prevent the laser operation if any of the
hatches is opened during a measurement.
Inside the Alpha reader next to the laser unit there is a label for the class 3B laser
and next to the optical fiber there is a warning label for laser aperture.
There is a laser radiation warning label at the back of the plate loading door (visible
when open, see figure below). There also is a laser radiation warning label at the
back of the optics loading door.
