5 Dispenser Module (Optional)
Notice
In case the tubes are disconnected, be aware that the tubes between pump and
dispenser head are crossed (see picture above):
The tube with the white end connects the left tubing connector of pump 1 to

the right hole of the dispenser head.
The tube with the yellow end connects the left tubing connector of pump 2 to
l
the left hole of the dispenser head.
Control Buttons
PUMP SEL: Selects the active pump. Green light indicates the selected pump.

WASH/PRIME: Starts the priming/washing of the selected pump.

Priming/washing does not start if the dispensing tip is inside the reader. Press
the WASH/PRIME button as many times as needed to ensure that the liquid
flows consistently from the tip.
EMPTY: Starts emptying the syringe.

Prime

Before using the dispenser in your measurements, the pumps need to be primed
with the liquid you plan to dispense (e. g. water, buffer, suspension, etc.). You will
see corresponding notifications in the upper right corner of the screen.
1. Open the SETTINGS > DISPENSER page:
2. Remove the dispenser tip from the reader and place it into a waste container.
3. Place the input tube of pump 1 into the reagent vessel which contains the liquid
to be dispensed. Click Wash/Prime of pump 1 on the left side to prime the
pump and the tubing. If necessary, click this button again until the liquid is
