5. Put the dispenser tip back into the reader. The dispenser is now active and
ready to use.

Priming can also be performed by using the buttons located at the dispenser unit:
The PUMP SEL button is used to select the pump. Green light indicates the

selected pump.
The WASH/PRIME button will start the priming of the pump. Priming does not
l
start if the dispensing tip is inside the reader. Press the WASH/PRIME button
as many times as needed to ensure that the liquid flows consistently from the
tip.
5.2

Wash

Before and after utilization, the used pump(s) should be washed thoroughly. You can
do this, depending on the reagents being dispensed, by washing several times with
pure water and ethanol (70 %):

2. Prime with air (only required after dispensing)

How to perform a washing cycle
1. Open the SETTINGS > DISPENSER page.
2. Remove the dispenser tip from the reader and place it into a waste container.
3. Take the input tube of the corresponding pump out of the reagent bottle (to
prime with air) or put it into a vessel with water/ethanol for washing.
