1I-13 Starting System:
Installation
Install the starter driven gear bearing in the reverse order
of removal.
CAUTION
!
The removed snap ring must be replaced
with a new one.

Starter Button Inspection

Inspect the starter button in the following procedures:
1) Remove the fuel tank. Refer to "Fuel Tank Removal
and Installation" in Section 1G (Page 1G-5).
2) Disconnect the starter button lead wire coupler (1).

3) Inspect the starter button for continuity with the
tester. If any abnormality is found, replace the handle
switch assembly with a new one. Refer to
"Handlebars Removal and Installation" in Section 6B
(Page 6B-3).

4) After finishing the starter button inspection, reinstall
the removed parts.
