Adjusting the Blower Air

The term "blower air" refers to the air which is blown out to loosen the stack of covers during feeding.
Double feeding or mis-feeding may occur if the blower air is too weak or too strong. Adust the height of
the feed table ( See the Section 3-17.), and then adjust blower air.

The display changes to the Information – Main
screen.
Press .

Single Operation Carriage Clamp screen.
Press .

Single Operation Cover Feed screen.
Press of the blower.
This starts the air flow.
Adjust the air pressure.
• If the lever is pulled toward you, the air
pressure drops.
• If the lever is pushed away from you, the air
pressure rises.
If the air pressure is too low, the air will not
loosen the stack of covers.
If the air pressure is too high, the covers will
lift and move.
Shut off the air.
• Press .
Start the changeover.
• You must do a changeover after using a Single
Operation screen.
