Checking the Emergency Stop Function

Check the safety functions of the
Emergency Stop buttons.
• Press the Emergency Stop buttons.
The Error screen is displayed.
• Check that the correct error icons appear on
the screen.
• The Error screen is cleared when the
Emergency Stop button is turned clockwise to
release the emergency stop status.
There are two Emergency Stop buttons.
Check both of these buttons without fail.
If the Error screen does not appear
• There is a problem with the safety circuits. Stop
operating the machine, and call your local
dealer.

Check for correct operation of the safety
light beam.
• An Error screen appears if you insert your hand
into the book-block feed section while the
carriage clamp is rotating.
• Check that the correct error icon appears on
the screen.
