3-2 Doing the Changeover
Check the settings on the Setup – Check screen.
(1) Check the settings.
• The sizes of the book block and covers which
have been entered are displayed.
• The "book binding settings" and "glue"
settings are displayed by the icons at the
bottom right of the screen.
(2) Check whether there are still covers on the
cover feed table.
• If there are, remove them.
• After the changeover, the side guides may be
touching the covers.
Decide whether to use fine-adjustment
values from the previous job.
: This tells the machine to use the fine-
adjustment values from the previous job.
: This tells the machine not to use the fine-
adjustment values and returns the fine-
adjustment values to zero.
Return the parts to their home positions or
do the changeover.
• Press
first time after the power was turned on.
Each sections of the machine moves first to
the home position and then to the set position.
While this is happening, the Hourglass
screen appears on the touch panel.
After the return to home position or changeover,
the Bookbinding – Operation screen appears.
Press
the second or following time.
By doing this, the time taken for the
changeover can be reduced.
When the Check Side Glue / Scoring
Roller screen has appeared
• This appears when the On or Off setting for
the side glue has been changed.
(1) After checking the details, press

standby position or on the feed table.
When taking out the covers
(1) Press
The covers are fed into the nipper.
(2) Open the right front cover, and remove the cover sheets.
(3) Close the right front cover.
