Adjust the position of the scoring rollers
so that the scoring lines for the flap cover
sheet are made in the right positions.
Here are the positions where the scoring lines for
the flap cover sheet can be made -
Line on the far side:
128 mm to 250 mm (5.04" to 9.84") from the far
edge of the spine.
Line on the front side:
128 mm to 290 mm (5.04" to 11.41") from the far
edge of the spine.
• Lock the upper scoring rollers first according to
the scale. The lower scoring rollers will be
positioned when you meet the upper and lower
rollers in Step 5.
Four lower scoring rollers for the flap
cover sheets are attached (two on the
front side, and two on the far side).
Position the lower scoring rollers at the
positions which are used frequently and
you can set the upper scoring rollers
easily by matching them with the lower
scoring rollers.
Set the positions of the drive rollers.
• Position the drive rollers evenly around the
scoring rollers and set the positions.
