Meet the upper and lower rollers.
• The scoring pressure for flap cover sheet
changes depending on the position where the
rollers meet.
(1) Meet the lower scoring roller with the upper
scoring roller and lock them.
(2) Tighten the pressure adjusting knobs. (Tighten
them by the same amount on each side.)
• Stop tightening the knobs when they feel a little
stiff. At this setting, the upper and lower
transport rollers are just touching each other.
If the knobs are tightened too far, the
covers may be cut by the scoring
rollers. (This depends on the type of
cover sheet.) Keep tightening the
pressure adjusting knobs, and stop
tightening them when they feel a little
stiff.
(3) Turn the locking knobs on both sides to lock.
(4) Close the cover feed section cover.
