5-12 Replacing the PUR Chip Cutter
Install the new PUR chip cutter.
(1) Place the cutter in place, and then put a piece
of thick cloth over it.
• This is to ensure that your hands will not
touch its blade.
(2) Tighten the four mounting screws.
When tightening the mounting screws for
the chip cutter, tighten opposite pairs of
screws (180 degree apart) by small
amounts. This will prevent the cutter from
bending as you tighten the screws.
Replace the following parts.
(1) Right and Left Milling Guide Clamp Blocks
(2) Rear Milling Guide
(3) Left Brush Bracket
(4) Right Brush Bracket
(5) Adjusting Side Brush
(6) Register Side Brush
