Connect the optical drive cable to the optical drive backplane and to the SATA optical/storage drive connector.

Install the access panel (Install the access panel on page 32).
10. Install the server in the rack.
11. Connect each power cord to the server.
12. Connect each power cord to the power source.
13. Power up the server on page 31.
Installing the rear drive riser cage option
The rear drive riser cage option supports low-profile PCI riser options in slot 2.
