Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.

Do one of the following:

6.
Remove the access panel (Remove the access panel on page 32).
7.
Install a secondary riser cage:
Low-profile (Installing a secondary low-profile PCIe slot riser cage option on page 94)

Full-height (Installing a secondary full-height PCI riser cage option on page 90)

8.
Remove the expansion slot blank:
A T-10 Torx screwdriver is required to remove the expansion slot blank.
