Problems
The boom doesn't move
The rear steering axle of the
machine remains locked.

Outrigger limit switches (S51-S52 GTH
4017EX - GTH 4514EX) damaged.
10A F18 fuse blown.
The solenoid valves of the forward
and reverse speeds are damaged.
Control drive unit damaged.
Relays K9 and K10 damaged.
Relays board damaged.
Problem of the wiring line.
Road/Jobsite selector turned to a
wrong position.
Road/Jobsite selector damaged.
Y10 solenoid damaged.
10A F24 fuse blown.
"High boom" micro-switch damaged.
Problem of the wiring line to the "high
boom" micro-switch.
Machine control board damaged.
Rear axle cylinder solenoid valves
Y30 and Y31 damaged.
A10 F18 fuse damaged.

PROBLEMS
CAUSES
Solutions
Check the mechanical operation
of the limit switches; replace if
necessary.
C h e c k t h e f u s e ; r e p l a c e i f
necessary.
Check you have 12V on solenoid,
when the forward gear is put, and,
12V on solenoid when the reverse
gear is put. If necessary, change the
coils of the solenoid valves.
Check the unit (see par. 2 - sect.
"Technical Specifications").
Check the relays and replace if
necessary.
Check the board and replace if
necessary.
Check the wiring for continuity.
Check the ROAD/JOBSITE selector
is on JOBSITE position.
Check the contacts and replace, if
necessary.
Check the solenoid and replace if
necessary.
Check the fuse and replace if
necessary.
Check the micro-switch and replace
if necessary.
Check the wiring for continuity.
Check the board inputs and outputs;
replace the board if necessary.
Check the solenoid valves and
replace if necessary.
Check the fuse and replace if
necessary.
