ADVISE_MASK
The ADVISE_MASK parameter will mask any of the failed conditions listed in ADVISE_ENABLED. A bit on
means the condition is masked out from alarming and will not be reported.
ADVISE_PRI
ADVISE_PRI designates the alarming priority of the ADVISE_ALM, see
default is 0 and the recommended values are 1 or 2.
ADVISE_ACTIVE
The ADVISE_ACTIVE parameter displays which of the advisories is active. Only the advisory with the
highest priority will be displayed. This priority is not the same as the ADVISE_PRI parameter described
above. This priority is hard coded within the device and is not user configurable.
ADVISE_ALM
ADVISE_ALM is an alarm indicating advisory alarms. These conditions do not have a direct impact on the
process or device integrity.

RECOMMENDED_ACTION
The RECOMMENDED_ACTION parameter displays a text string that will give a recommended course of
action to take based on which type and which specific event of the PlantWeb alarms is active (See
5-12 on page

Configure the AI Block

A minimum of four parameters are required to configure the AI Block. The parameters are described
below with example configurations shown at the end of this section.
CHANNEL
Select the channel that corresponds to the desired sensor measurement. The Rosemount 3051S
measures both pressure (channel 1) and sensor temperature (channel 2).
