For steam service or for applications with process temperatures greater than the limits of each ERS sensor, do not blow down impulse piping through either sensor.

Process Connections Flange adapters with a -18 NPT to -14 NPT connection are available with the D2 option. Use a plant-approved lubricant or sealant when making the process connections.

There are many possible sources of error: pressure transfer, leaks, friction loss (particularly if purging is used), trapped gas in a liquid line, liquid in a gas line, and plugged impulse lines.
