5-valve natural gas manifold
Performing zero trim at static line pressure
5-valve natural gas configurations shown:
In normal operation, the two isolate (block) valves
between the process ports and transmitter will be open,
and the equalize valves will be closed. Vent valves may be
opened or closed.
1. To zero trim the transmitter, first close the isolate valve
on the low pressure (downstream) side of the
transmitter and the vent valve.
2. Open the equalize valve on the high pressure
(upstream) side of the transmitter.
3. Open the equalize valve on the low pressure
(downstream) side of the transmitter. The manifold is
now in the proper configuration for performing a zero
trim on the transmitter.
