9.3.2 Control with 1 linear transducer
Proportional. The speed and strength of the pull on the linear transducer determine
Opening:
the opening speed of the MyoHand VariPlus Speed.
Proportional. The speed of the release of the linear transducer determines the clos-
Closing:
ing speed.
Stopping: By very slow release of the linear transducer the MyoHand VariPlus Speed stops in
an opened position.
Example 1: After opening the amputee slowly releases the pull on the linear transducer. The ob-
ject is grasped with low force.
Example 2: After opening the amputee releases the pull on the linear transducer at maximum
speed. The MyoHand VariPlus Speed closes at maximum speed and grasps an ob-
ject with a grip force of approx. 100 N.

ed electrode signals is prevented.
Speed: proportional
Adjustment regulator A
Adjustment regulator A is used to adjust the proportional speed
of the "OPENING / CLOSING" function and the speed of grip
force build-up.
Notice: Always check the adjustments on the prosthesis and
adapt them to the amputee.
