9 Description of control modes
9.1 Control mode 1:
The grip speed and grip force are determined by the strength of the electrode signal (resulting
from the muscle contraction). With another, stronger electrode signal, the amputee can always
increase the grip force up to the maximum of approx. 100 N.
Proportionally controlled by the OPENING electrode.
Opening:
Proportionally controlled by the CLOSING electrode.
Closing:
Example 1:
A gentle electrode signal applies the smallest grip force to the object.
Example 2:
A stronger electrode signal creates a more powerful grip force. Another, stronger
electrode signal increases the grip force up to the maximum of approx. 100 N.

Adjustment regulator A
Adjustment regulator A is used to adjust the proportional speed
of the "OPENING / CLOSING" function and the speed of grip
force build-up.
Notice: Always check the adjustments on the prosthesis and
adapt them to the amputee.
