This section provides abbreviated operating instructions for
the Companion XL. For complete instructions, refer to
PeakTrak's on-line help.
8.1 Installing a Collection Rack
Before beginning a run, you must load collection tubes on the
Foxy 200. To do so:
1. Select racks. Your system was shipped with two racks that
hold 25 mm diameter tubes (P/N 68-2137-045). Several
racks are available:
• Foxy Rack, 16 mm diameter tubes (100), P/N
68-2137-043
• Foxy Rack, 18 mm diameter tubes (72), P/N
68-2137-044
• Foxy Rack, 28 mm diameter scintillation vials (36),
P/N 68-2137-046
• Foxy microfunnel tray to channel drops with 12 or
13 mm tube racks. Pkg of 10.

• Foxy 200 Prep Rack (26 Halar funnels that allow
unlimited samples sizes).

Note
The Foxy 200 will hold two tube/vial racks, two microfunnel trays,
or one prep rack. Additionally, eighteen 400 ml bottles, 500 ml
bottles, or 150 ml beakers can be used. Refer to the Foxy 200
Instruction Manual for correct bottle placement on the drip tray.
2. Insert the tubes or vials into the racks.
