3. Start Internet Explorer.
4. From the Internet Explorer window, select the
"Tools>Internet Options..." menu command.
5. Select the Security tab on the Internet Options window.
6. Highlight the Internet icon.
7. Drag the slider to the Medium Security Level. Click the
Apply button.
8. Click the "Custom Level" button. The Security Settings
options will appear. See Figure 7-1.
9. Locate the ActiveX controls and plug-ins and select the
following options (refer to Figure 7-2):
• Download signed ActiveX controls – Enable
• Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins – Enable
10. Click the OK button to close the Security settings options.
11. On the Internet Options window, apply the setting and
click OK to close the window.
