3. Place the racks on the Foxy 200 (Figure 8-1).
4. If this is the first time the system has been used, or if a
different rack has been selected, verify the configuration
setting. Do this by selecting the "Tools>Configuration"
PeakTrak's menu command. Ensure the PeakTrak
Hardware Configuration window setting matches the
selected rack.

8.2 Prime the Solvent Lines
Before proceeding, verify that the solvent, waste, and drain
lines have been connected according to Section 2.5.
1. Start PeakTrak by logging in to the Companion XL.
2. From PeakTrak's Main Window, select the "Tools>Auto
prime" menu command.
3. Ensure that a priming tube is inserted between the upper
and lower column mounts. The priming tube must be
connected to the smaller fittings used for 120–330g
columns.
