This section provides instructions for unpacking the
Companion XL and preparing it to be connected to a computer
or network.
2.1 Unpacking the Unit
The CombiFlash Companion XL is shipped in multiple
cartons. Carefully unpack the shipment and inspect the
contents to verify receipt of all components against the
packing list. If there is any damage to the shipping carton or
any components, contact the shipping agent and Teledyne Isco
(or its authorized representative) immediately.
If there is any evidence that the system has been damaged in
shipping, do not plug it into the power line. Contact Teledyne
Isco or its authorized representative for advice.
Compare the contents of the boxes with the enclosed packing
slip. If there are any shortages, contact Teledyne Isco
immediately.
2.2 Assemble the Foxy 200
The Foxy 200 Fraction Collector must be assembled before
use. Refer to the instructions supplied with the Foxy 200.
