4.2.2 Configure the Computer's Internet Browser Options
1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. From the File menu, select "Work Offline."
3. From the Internet Explorer window, select the
"Tools>Internet Options..." menu command.
4. Select the Security tab on the Internet Options window
(see Figure 4-3).
5. Highlight the Internet icon.
6. Click the "Custom Level" button. The Security Settings
options will appear.
7. In the Reset Custom Settings box, select "Medium" from
the pull-down list and click the Reset button.
8. In the Settings list, locate the ActiveX controls and
plug-ins and select the following options (See Figure 4-4):
• Download signed ActiveX controls – Enable
• Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins – Enable
9. Click the OK button to close the Security settings options.
If you are asked "Are you sure...?", click Yes and continue.
