2. When all settings have been configured, click the Play
button to start the run. After column equilibration, the
system pauses for the liquid injection (Figure 8-6).
3. Inject the Liquid Sample:
a. Connect a syringe containing the compound mixture to
the Liquid Injection accessory's luer fitting. This fitting
is located above the valve (Figure 8-7).
b. Open the valve by turning the handle so it is in line with
the tubing (Figure 8-7).
c. Inject the liquid compound mixture.
d. Close the valve by turning the handle so that it is
perpendicular to the tubing. Remove the syringe.
