6. Click the "Custom Level" button. The Security Settings
options will appear.
7. In the Reset Custom Settings box, select "Medium" from
the pull-down list and click the Reset button.
8. In the Settings list, locate the ActiveX controls and
plug-ins and select the following options (See Figure 5-4):
• Download signed ActiveX controls – Enable
• Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins – Enable
9. Click the OK button to close the Security settings options.
If you are asked "Are you sure...?", click Yes and continue.
10. On the Internet Options window, click Apply to change the
settings.
11. On the Internet Options window, select the Connections
tab.
a. Click the LAN Settings... button.
b. Ensure that the "Use a Proxy Server" check box is not
selected.
