This section provides instructions for adding the CombiFlash
Companion XL to a local area network and connecting to it
from a Windows computer.
Note
The procedures described in this section will require a user
account on the PC with Administrator privileges. These
procedures will also require assistance from your network
administrator. Contact your IT department before proceeding.

7.1 Establish a Direct Connection

Before proceeding with configuring the Companion XL for the
local area network, you must be directly communicating with
the Companion XL using one of the methods described in
sections 3 through 6, according to the operating system of the
selected computer.

7.2 Configuring the Companion XL for Networking

Sections 7.2.1 and 7.2.2 provide instructions for adding the
Companion XL to the local area network. After it is recognized
by the network, you may connect to the Companion XL using
the instructions in section 7.2.3.

7.2.1 Assign the Companion XL's Network Address

1. If open, close PeakTrak by selecting the File>Exit menu
command.
2. Start Internet Explorer and browse for the address
"http://192.168.1.51/config".
