4. Highlight the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" item in the list,
and click on the "Properties" button. Refer to Figure 6-2.
5. Select the Alternate Configuration tab. Click the "User
Configured" option. See Figure 6-3.
6. Enter the IP address "192.168.1.200".
7. Enter the Subnet Mask. Enter the default Subnet Mask,
"255.255.255.0."
8. Click the OK button to close the Internet Protocol
properties window. Click the Close button to close the Local
Area Connection properties window.
6.2.2 Configure the Computer's Internet Browser Options

Before connecting to the Companion XL, run the preinstaller tool.

1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. From the File menu, select "Work Offline."
