3. Highlight the "TCP/IP" item in the list, and click on the
"Properties" button. The TCP/IP Properties Window will
open (Figure 3-2). Select the IP Address tab.
Note
The following steps change the local area connection settings. If
the computer must be restored to its original network
configuration, record the present Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
settings now.
4. Click the "Specify an IP address" option.
5. Enter the IP address "192.168.1.200".
6. Enter the default Subnet Mask "255.255.255.0."
7. Click the OK button to close the Internet Protocol
properties window. Then, click the OK button to close the
Local Area Connection properties window.
