11. Spray soapy water on the inside surface of the tunnel grommet and on the ride plate seal.

NOTE: When installing the pump in the tunnel, ensure that cables are below the tunnel grommet flange on the pump to prevent
pinching of the cables between the pump and boat.
12. Install the jet pump by pushing the unit through the opening in the tunnel grommet. The ride plate seal should fit snug in the
boat tunnel without any gaps along the perimeter.
NOTE: Before installing the drive housing cover, check the ride plate seal for proper fit in the tunnel.
