This RPM range allows for better acceleration while maintaining maximum boat speed. -

Remove the top cowl. Loosen the fill cap on the engine oil reservoir tank. Run Plus TC–W3 2–cycle oil is recommended. If Mercury or Quicksilver outboard oil is not available, substitute another brand of 2–cycle outboard oil that is NMMA the engine until all the air has been vented out of the oil reservoir tank and tank Certified TC–W3. -
