CONDENSER REPLACEMENT
1. Remove the refrigerant from the A/C system.
WARNING
In the event of a leak, wear safety goggles. Escaping
refrigerant can cause severe injuries to eyes. In contact
with a flame, R-134a refrigerant gives a toxic gas.
2. Remove the left rear fender.
3. Disconnect the outlet hose
4. Disconnect the inlet tube
5. Cap and plug the tube and the condenser fittings
with the proper A/C caps and plugs.
6. Remove the two bolts

7. Remove the two bolts

8. Remove the bolt
9. Remove the condenser from the vehicle.
10. Installation: Reverse procedure. Tighten fasteners
to specification.
Upper Condenser Hose:
18 ft-lb (24 Nm)
Lower Condenser / Receiver-Drier Hose:
12 ft-lb (16 Nm)
Condenser Upper Mounting Bolt:
14 ft-lb (19 Nm)
Condenser Lower Mounting Bolts:
8 ft-lb (11 Nm)
