5 Loosen the screws (M2.5x6) of the battery lid.
CAUTION!
Use suitable tools to remove the screws, so that these cannot fall into the interior of the device.
6 Remove both batteries using the attached tabs.
7 Insert the left new battery
CAUTION!
Do not use force to insert the battery. The battery PCB could be damaged.
8 Insert the right new battery
CAUTION!
Do not use force to insert the battery. The battery PCB could be damaged.
9 Screw the battery lid with a force of 0.3 Nm and using Loctite 270.
10 Attach the grounding conductor to the battery cover.
11 Screw the battery cover down securely.
12 Connect the CARDIOHELP to the external power supply with the power cable.
13 Switch on the device.
14 Save the battery change in the CARDIOHELP (⇨ "Saving the Battery Change", page 92).
15 Carry out a complete inspection (⇨ "Inspection", page 33).
u Batteries replaced and saved in the device.
