3 Inspection

NOTE
To achieve a longer working life, we recommend that the HLS module is blown out with compressed air.
The air pressure must not exceed 2 bar!
3.3 Visual Inspection
3.3.1 CARDIOHELP Device

Check the following components for visible damage or soiling.

Guard is in good condition and clean.
▶
Housing is clean and without visible damage.
▶
Rubber feet are present and in good condition.
▶
Safety seal is present and in good condition

CARDIOHELP optical test - passed/failed.

Check the venous probe unit for visible damage or soiling.
▶
Venous probe holder and locking hook are in good condition and clean.
▶
Reference surface is clean and without scratches.
▶
Measuring sensor present, clean, secure and without scratches.
▶
Connection cable for venous probe without kinks or damage.

Venous probe optical test - passed/failed/N/A (if not present).

Check the sensors used (cable and sensor) for visible damage or soiling.

Flow/bubble sensor is clean and without damage - passed/failed.
u
Bubble sensor is clean and without damage - passed/failed/N/A (if not present).

Level sensor is clean and without damage - passed/failed/N/A (if not present).
u
External temperature sensors are clean and without damage - passed/failed/N/A (if not present).
CAUTION!
Check cable labeling.
Check if the colored cable labeling is present on the individual sensors.
Advise the customer that more color labels can be ordered from MAQUET.
