Prepare the BMU cell for the test.

Close BMU cell on tab with the blue cap.
▶
Fill with tap water (approx. 15 ... 25°C) up to the locking hook.

Remove the probe from the holder.

Connect the probe to the BMU cell.

Insert the thermometer's temperature sensor into the BMU cell, up to the infrared sensor of the venous
probe.
NOTE
Ensure that only the stainless steel sensor is in the water, in order to avoid damaging the temperature
sensor.

Touch the
[Blood parameter]

At the same time, check the temperature T
thermometer.

Note both measured values in the service protocol.

Calculate the deviation of the two values and record this in the service protocol.

10 Remove the BMU cell from the venous probe and empty the BMU cell.
11 Hook the venous probe into the holder of the CARDIOHELP.
Correcting Measurement Errors

If measuring inaccuracies occur, check the connection between the temperature sensor and the
temperature measurement device.

Check the connection of the venous probe.
3
Check the correct connection of the BMU cell.
