3.5.2 Manual Function Test
Self-test

Connect the CARDIOHELP to the external power supply with the power supply cord.

Press the On/Off button to switch the CARDIOHELP on.

The CARDIOHELP automatically performs a self-test after
being switched on.

Check the following parameters during the self-test.
▶
Alarm buzzer 1 (drive control unit) generates an acoustic signal.
▶
Alarm buzzer 2 (sensor control unit) generates an acoustic signal.
▶
Speaker generates an acoustic alarm.
▶
The startup screen appears.
▶
No error report is displayed.
▶
Green On/Off LED lights up.

Self-test - passed/failed.
Fan Check

Dismount the retainer bar

Switch the CARDIOHELP on.

Press the On/Off button to switch the measuring tool Testo 405-V1 on.

Press the On/Off button again to select the unit of measurement [m/s].

In order to check the lower fan place the measuring tool at the 4th
ventilation rib from the bottom.
▶
The lower fan operates correctly if the measured value is between 0.5 m/s and 1.1 m/s.
▶
The lower fan does not operate correctly if the measured value is between 0 m/s and 0.5 m/s.
