5 Connect the connection cable to the venous probe and the
corresponding interface of the CARDIOHELP.
▶ Make sure that the red dots on the connection cable and plug are correctly aligned.
6 Place the venous probe into the holder.
▶ Venous probe must click into place and must not be able to be moved.
7 Teach the venous probe (⇨ "Teaching the Venous Probe", page 91).
8 Carry out a complete inspection (⇨ "Inspection", page 33).

Venous probe is replaced, teached and the function has been tested.
u Inspection after repair has been carried out.

Disconnect the CARDIOHELP from the external power supply before carrying out maintenance work.
1 Disconnect the CARDIOHELP from the external power supply.
2 Unscrew the screw and remove the unlocking knob at left hinge.
3 Repeat step 2 at right hinge.
