Connection Examples

Consider load impedance and line resistance!
When designing the sensor, the load impedance and maximum line resistance
must be taken into account!
Note two-channel use of the inputs!
By setting the "Sensor Evaluation" parameter to the "two-channel" value, inputs
AI1 and AI2 or AI3 and AI4 can each be parameterized to a channel pair for two-
channel use!
Pay attention to the protected installation of signal lines!
Make sure that the signal lines are installed protected among each other and
between the sensors and inputs per IEC 60204-1 or EN ISO 13849-2 (e.g., as
separate sheathed lines or in separate cable ducts).
The sensor has an effect on risk reduction!
To achieve the specified risk reduction, a suitably qualified safety-sensitive
sensor must be used!
Two analog inputs required to achieve SIL3 / Cat. 4 PLe!
To achieve risk reduction SIL3 or Cat. 4 PLe, two analog inputs must be used as
channel pair.
