Wire Break Detection

The lines to the analog inputs can be monitored for wire breaks. The requirement
for this is that the parameter "Wire break detection" is set to the value
"Enabled". A wire break is detected within the error response time.
If you have set the "Wire break detection" parameter to "Disabled", then wires
are not monitored for breaks by the F I/O module.
If a wire break is detected for an analog input, the F I/O module or the affected
input is passivated and the "Wire break" diagnostic message is output.
Wire break detection depends on the setting of the following parameters:
