54 Electrical installation: AC input / DC input, motor and brake

DC power cable connection diagram (optional)

The UDC+ and UDC- terminals are intended for common DC configurations of a
number of MicroFlex e190 drives.
AC supply (DC sharing)
DC sharing allows regenerative energy from one drive to be utilized by other drives
that are in motoring mode. Each drive is connected to the AC supply* and has its own
brake resistor. The MicroFlex e190 drives' DC connections are linked as shown in the
diagram below.

Fuses
* The MicroFlex e190 DC connection is not designed to provide the primary power
source to other drives.
DC supply
MicroFlex e190 can use a DC supply as the primary power source (see page 154).
Each drive is powered from the DC supply and has its own brake resistor. There is no
AC supply.
