on page 42.
Ambient conditions – The drive is to be used in a heated indoor controlled
environment. See section
Input cable fuses – For installation in the United States, branch circuit protection must
be provided in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and any
applicable local codes. To fulfill this requirement, use the UL classified fuses given in
section
Supply cable fuses
For installation in Canada, branch circuit protection must be provided in accordance
with the Canadian Electrical Code and any applicable provincial codes. To fulfill this
requirement, use the UL classified fuses given in section
151.
Power cable selection – See section
Power cable connections – For the connection diagram and tightening torques, see

Power cable connection
Control connections – For the connection diagram and tightening torques, see
section
Connecting the control cables
Overload protection – The drive provides overload protection in accordance with the
National Electrical Code (US).
Braking – The MicroFlex e190 has an internal braking chopper. When applied with
appropriately sized braking resistors, the braking chopper allows the drive to
dissipate regenerative energy (normally associated with quickly decelerating a
motor). Braking resistor selection is discussed in the chapter
page 171.
