If n is valid, it displays the number of bytes which
do not contain any data. Example:
3 data bytes, e = 1 and s = 1, n = 4 - 3 = 1
0: normal transfer, number of the bytes to be writ-
ten >= 5 byte
1: expedited transfer, number of the bytes to be
written < 5 byte
0: data set size is not displayed
1: data set size is displayed
s is always 1
