Note:
With the freely parametrizable variations /003 000 of the serial interface
modules, the desired operation mode can be set. Dependent on it, the proc-
ess image of these modules is then the same, as from the appropriate varia-
tion.
The above Serial Interface Modules with alternative data format have a total
of 4 bytes of user data in both the Input and Output Process Image (3 bytes of
serial data and 1 byte of control/status). The following table illustrates the In-
put and Output Process Image, which have a total of 4 bytes mapped into each
image.
These modules present themselves with 2x2 bytes, so that the object 0x6401
(also 0x2400 possible) for 2 byte Special Modules, Inputs and the object
0x6411 (also 0x2500 possible) for 2 byte Special Modules, Outputs are used.
Therefore for each module one Subindex is occupied.
